"I'm really proud of this one. My newest and most epic sample collection to date. The influence on this sample pack came from YEARS of watching kung-fu flicks as a child and just soaking in the different instruments that were used. It took me a long time to research these textures to understand why they sound so amazing. With some experimentation and utilizing various influences from different genres, I came up with 20 of (by far) my absolute favorite sample riffs/loops I've ever created. I love these so much because they're so different, and they evoke a deep emotion only the music can describe. I'm sure you will create amazing tunes with these samples. Enjoy!" - !llmind

“Modularium” is the first instrument in our series. It’s a 4 layer instrument with different ways to modulate the waveforms using synchronized effects and modulations from Kontakt sampler.
Each one of the layers can do different things:
The first one is a real modulations monster called “Generator” which is using 8 different waveforms to create a fat sound. The second layer is an instrument called “Vocalirum” – it creates vocal like pads. The third one is named “Paddle”, which can do amazing pads. “Noicesetter” is a noise generator with nice extras
to tweak.

The Balalaika is a small string instrument which most likely originates from central Asian lute instruments but is nowadays most closely associated with eastern european, especially Russian music. First mentioned in the 17th Century, it was primarily used for village and folk music whereas the Balalaika also starts to take part in concert performances since the 19th Century. This even lead to the forming of Balalaika orchestras. Additionally the Balalaika acquired its iconic triangular shape in that time.
The Balalaika we have recorded is a three-stringed prima Balalaika which has a typical E-E-A tuning.
